Evening all, I have a little treat for you.
I want to introduce you to a brand new fashion/art project from Alban Selamaj and Anton Vitkovskiy, aka. Vernato, titled the Renaissance Collection, ‘a stylish and supreme quality t-shirt collection inspired by the great masters of the Renaissance.’ Alban and Anton have come up with seven t-shirt designs, featuring: the three Italian artistic big guns, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael; notorious promoter of evil princes, Niccolò Machiavelli; mathematician, astronomer and all-round genius Nicolaus Copernicus; the greatest Northern Renaissance painter of all time (no arguments), Albrecht Dürer; and Genoese explorer, Christopher Columbus, no less. I think you’ll agree that this is clearly a project designed to make us all very very happy indeed.
Like what you see? Want to be the envy of all Renaissance lovers? Interested in expressing your controversial Machiavellian beliefs in t-shirt form? Then Vernato are asking you to pledge pledge pledge through their page on the project-backing site Kickstarter (a check-out must for any budding entrepreneurs!) in order for them to reach the amount to fund the initial factory production line. The minimum pledge you can make is just $1, and Vernato are generously offering rewards depending on the amount you donate (pledges will only go through on April 27th if the project is successful). I’ve literally just put my project donation through and have my fingers crossed that the guys can make this stunning project a reality.
And because I’m feeling so damn nice today, if you follow me and you do pledge towards this project, then I will add your blog to a list with all others that meet this criteria, and post it. If you pledge, then either message me or comment on this post (no lying now please, even Machiavelli would not approve of that.)
So pledge, reblog, tell all your friends! You can also follow Vernato on tumblr here.
